Please bring a charged electronic device that you can use to access the internet. You will find several different links below. They include images of the slides we will use in our training. Please notice that the “Full Slide Handout” is a very large document, one that you don’t want to print, but you may use them to follow along during our day together, or use for your own review later. There is another document that organizes these same slides, 6 slides per page, that will be easier to print, if you wish. I am looking forward to working with you all soon.

MCCL Learning Progressions in PDF format

The document links below will provide you with a set of PDF documents of our MCCL Learning Progressions. In the beginning of most of these documents you will see a summary of revision changes. That information is for those systems that were actively collecting learner data when we made a revision on the progressions they were using. That information is not helpful for systems that are just getting familiar with our progressions.

English Language Arts (Partial Collection) & Mathematics 2019-2020 (Partial Collection) & Science 2019-2020 (Partial Collection)

In the Winter of 2019 we had a small group of teachers/learning facilitators review our ELA, Math, & Science Learning Progressions only to see what additional “evidence” options, including 4 -level learning options, they could add. What you see above, is a link to a “Partial Collection” of our ELA & Math progressions. They are limited to just those progressions that have new additions. These additions have not yet been added to the Maine Empower site.We will be revising the full set of ELA, Math, & Science progressions in winter 2020 and at that time we will add the work that was done in winter 2019 to the full set of progressions.
